Outreach to Tekpanya – September 14, 2022

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  God gave us another opportunity to witness to the Muslim community at Tekpanya, in the Volta Region of Ghana.

We traveled for 1 hour and 55 minutes from the office in Accra to Tekpanya and their roads are very bad.  We got there in the morning hours around 9:30 a.m. and after a little rest, we prayed and move around the village sharing tracts, preaching the gospel, and explaining the messages on the tracts to the people.

We placed emphasis on Tekpanya Zongo where most of the people were Muslims.  Their chief language is Hausa, which we don’t understand nor do we speak.  We met a young man named Musa in the village and we shared the Word of God with him.  Musa joined us and became our interpreter as we went about preaching.  Because of Musa, about 31 persons gave their lives to Christ in addition to those who made the decision to be Christians from nearby villages.

In summary, we shared about 655 tracts and witnessed 157 souls give their lives to Jesus Christ, and 31 people re-dedicated their lives to Christ.  The Lord also healed 3 people after prayers for them by the team.

May God bless you for making this trip possible and through your love gift all these Muslims are now God’s children.

The Team members who participated in evangelism on this visit are David, Matthew, John, and team leader, Harrison.  Also, Musa, the villager that God used for His glory!

God bless you

Harrison
