The C.M.M. Evangelism Team was used mightily by God in this outreach to the village of Kukuom in Ghana. It is their heart’s desire to preach the Gospel in every Region of the nation of Ghana and they are certainly well on their way. In this outreach 149 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ. Below is the most recent report from Reverend John Harrison, the leader of the team. Please read it and be blessed!
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We praise God for another successful journey to preach and evangelize the lost for the Kingdom of God!
As it has been our mandate and our heart’s desire to take the Gospel to all the 16 Regions of Ghana, we travelled over 8 hours to Kukuom in the Ahafo Region . Kukuom is under Asunafo South District.
We took the night bus on Tuesday July 7th, 2020 from Accra. The bus left Accra at 10 pm and we got to Kukuom at 6 am on July 8, 2020. Part of the road was in a bad shape hence the team couldn’t travel on it with our car. We had some rest until 10 am when we started sharing tracts, preaching the Gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and explaining the messages on the tracts to the people of Kukuom. We lodged at Sambra Hotel at Goaso Tepa Road, about a 20-minute drive from Kukuom. We returned home Thursday night by the night bus again and arrived home Friday morning.
God was so good to us as we preached and shared tracts. We prayed for the sick and 2 people were healed. One was sick of malaria fever and the other having a severe abdominal pain.
As we shared over 400 tracts and witnessed to people, 149 accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior!
We were glad seeing the people turning from the world to Christ. The evil Corona Virus has brought fear, job loss and many things to the people. From past experiences, we are seeing many people have lost hope in our political leaders and things of the world they use to rely on. Now they see that their only hope is in Jesus Christ. So, as the scripture says, the Devil meant the virus for evil, but with so many willing to receive Jesus as their Savior, God has turned the situation for good and for His glory!
Hallelujah!
How can this happen unless people are sent to preach? That is what we are doing now, and God is saving His people. Praise the Lord!
We observed the necessary precaution protocols by washing our hands often, sanitizing our hands, maintaining social distancing, and wearing face masks as we do the Father’s business.
Kukuom wasn’t different from many places we have preached during Convid-19 Pandemic times we are in. Not many are able to buy face masks. We would like some face masks we can share to some of the people that we pray with and teach them the word of God.
We say “God bless you!” for always supporting us so the Gospel can be preached to the lost. God bless you abundantly for your prayers and financial support. Without your support, we could not have gone to Kukuom and only God knows how many would have never received Jesus as their Savior.
