Outreach to Konkonuru in the Eastern Region – May 6, 2020

Posted

Greetings in Jesus Name.

We thank God for giving us the opportunity to preach the Gospel to a dying world.  On Wednesday, May 6, 2020, we traveled to KONKONURU IN THE EASTERN REGION, Akuapim South District and got there in the morning hours of 10 am.  The team members were Michael, David, John, and Matthew.

Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, we take precautions by maintaining social distancing, washing our hands with soap, and running water, using alcohol-based hand sanitizers, and wearing face masks.

The people of Konkonuru stayed in their homes while we walked about and preached with a Megaphone and making altar calls for people to accept Jesus as Savior.  We also give our phone numbers out so they could call for prayers and by doing this, 22 people called to give their lives to Christ and another seven re-dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ.

We also took the opportunity to talk about the Bible School and some have shown interest.

One lady came out and accepted Jesus.  Then she told us that she and her family had not eaten so we gave her a few cedi’s we had left and 4 balls of Kenkey. (A staple dish of Ghana like sourdough dumpling usually served with pepper sauce and fried fish or soup, stew)

We are praying that after this pandemic and with God’s Grace, a new school will be established there to the Glory of God.  We also ask of your prayers as we journey every week to preach the Gospel which He has called us to do.

God bless you all.

Below are some of the pictures taking whilst preaching with the Megaphone.
