Outreach to Mpohor – Nov. 9-12, 2021 – 156 Souls Saved!

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

On November 9, 2021, the C.M.M. evangelism team traveled to the town of Mpohor, in the N.W. part of Takoradi.   They drove for 5 hours and 30 minutes from Accra, Ghana on Tuesday and returned Friday night, November 12. 2021.

During their three-day visit, the team preached the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and shared 512 tracts with those willing to take them.   They took the time to explain the message on the tracts by translating them to their local dialect called Fante.

Because of the language difference, it was a  place to preach the Gospel but the team estimates 156 people accepted Jesus as Saviour.  Twenty-three people rededicated their lives to Jesus while 22 rejected the tracts and refused to hear the Gospel message.   But seeds were planted through the ones who were saved and in time they may be able to witness to the others.

There were also 4 people who were healed after prayer.

One elderly man suffered from a stroke and was unable to walk. For five years he was taken outside each day to enjoy the fresh air.  When the team met him he was sitting outside in a chair.  They explained that Jesus could heal him and after prayer, the man walked for the first time in 5 years!   Praise be the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!!!!!!

The C.M.M. evangelism team is extremely grateful to those of you who give sacrificially to make possible these evangelism trips throughout the African nation of Ghana.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!   (Romans 10:13-15)
