Glory be to God for another wonderful Outreach Report!
Just as we travel every week to evangelize the lost, this time we traveled for 6 ½ hours from Accra to Infuma to preach the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Infuma is also known as Dick’s Cove or Dixcove. The English established a base there in 1691 in hope of finding gold nearby (which actually never materialized here), it was later retaken by the Dutch and fortified as the westernmost Dutch fort along the Gold Coast (present day Ghana). Today Infuma is a fishing community and popular to tourists who visit the historical Museum of the slave trade.
We arrived around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, 24th June, 2020 and began sharing Gospel tracts with the people. We explained the content of the tracts and prayed for the sick. We followed the usual protocols for the prevention of Covid-19 virus by washing our hands with soap and water, sanitized our hands and wore face masks. We found that many don’t have face masks and cannot even afford to buy them. We are praying for in the future to be able to supply face masks to needy people as we share the Gospel.
While we were in Infuma we shared over 400 Gospel tracts. They gladly received the good news with joy. We are blessed to report that 121 persons gave their lives to Christ! One man told us that after receiving Jesus “Now, if Covid -19 kills me, I will surely be with the Lord in Heaven”. His conviction helped us to share more tracts with joy in the Holy Spirit.
We thank God for letting us to be a part in leading so many souls to Him!
