Outreach to Cedikope – October 6-8, 2022

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

On Tuesday 4th October 2022, the CMM Outreach Team of Ghana traveled to Cedikope in the Eastern Region of Ghana, near the Kwahu Afram Plains.

Due to climate change, we have begun experiencing unusual rainfalls.  We got to Cedikope at 12 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.  It started to rain then and continued until Thursday.  The rain made it very difficult for us to move about to witness to people.  Nevertheless, we began evangelizing from the 6th to the 8th of October 2022.

We moved from house to house, street to street, shop to shop to tell them about Jesus Christ.  We preached the word of God, shared tracts, explained the messages on the tracts to those who couldn’t read, and also prayed for the sick.

In the Cedikope region, the major occupations are farming and manufacturing a local alcoholic beverage from Palm trees.  Since alcohol is so plentiful, a good number of people are alcoholics.  By the grace of God speaking through the tracts and anointing us to preach of the Word of God, out of 137 people who gave their lives to Jesus, 79 of them were alcoholics.

The number of tracts we shared was 544.  We believe there were 137 souls saved, plus 28 re-dedications, and 7 people were healed of sicknesses.

God bless you all for your support that made it possible for us to travel to witness to these wonderful souls!
