What will 39 cents do?   A lot, in India that is.   Thanks to the offerings received by Covenant Messenger Ministries to feed the hungry, 150 children and 50 widows were recently blessed during the ongoing lock-down in India. Each person received 2 bananas and a small loaf of bread at the cost of 30 rupees (39 cents) per person.  Believe it or not, these items were rare treats for these people.

The children are either orphans or from parents who cannot afford to feed their families and of course, the widows depend on family and charity for their existence. We are all family in God’s Eyes and are expected to care for one another. Rich or poor, young or old, white, brown, yellow or black, none of it matters to God. Jesus died for every person ever born, even those who hated Him. But that’s the unconditional (agape) love of God. That love can be seen in the eyes of the ones in these photos.
