On Thursday, 21st February 2008, the outreach team and some of the students of ISOM of CMM reached out to the people of Nii Boi Town, a suburb of Accra with the adherent intention of inviting people from all walks of life into the Lordship of Jesus Christ. This programme was hosted by Liberty Evangelistic Power Ministry. The team left the school premises at 3:00 p.m. and reached at the location about a quarter to 4:00 p.m. in the evening. The team was affectionately and overwhelming welcome by the hosts and hostesses.
Adding to the above, at 7:00 p.m., the team started the video crusade and ended at 9:45 p.m. The film which was shown is, The Passion Of Christ, which attracted about 150 individuals to throng around the scene to have a glimpse of the proceedings.
It was realized that most of the people are predominantly converts therefore, there was no new convert for the night after the programme. Moreover, early the next morning at 9:00 a.m, the team and our host counterparts joined together to move from house to house to encourage believers and make new converts in the faith. In all, the team interacted with 35 individuals, out of which the team made 5 new converts. They prayed for the sick to receive healing and counselled some believers and backsliders. The team encountered others who were procrastinating owing to their acclaimed busy schedule. The team closed at 1:00 p.m.
In the evening, the video crusade was held and the title of the film showed is The Wrath of God which drew much attention and concern on the reason why every person should be saved and live a spotless life. The total number of people present was estimated to be 200 but there was no new convert. It ended at 9:50 p.m. and commenced at 7:00 p.m.
Furthermore, on Saturday 23rd, February 2008 the team and our host counterparts continued with our utmost priority of making new converts and encouraging believers to hold fast on their beliefs by moving from house to house.
In all, the team interacted with 32 people and made 2 new converts. The team encouraged some believers and backsliders. The team met a Muslim who has been turned to a Christian. She actually attested about how they are suffering owing to the containment in the religion. The team encouraged her to be proactive in everything she wants to do by seeking first the counsel of the Holy Spirit. It ended at 1:00 p.m.
We had the video crusade in the evening as usual and showed a film entitled The Anti-Christ
which attracted about 120 people onto the scene but there was no new convert. Brother Samuel
Adjei ministered by giving a testimony concerning his own life. It ended at 10:15 p.m.
On Sunday 24th February 2008, which was said to be the last day of the whole programme, the host church started their Sunday service at 8:30 a.m. and ended at 12:00 noon. Brother Willie ministered to the congregation about the urgency and essence of the great commission.
In conclusion, 7 new converts were made and 2 souls won into the host church. Thank God, everything was successful.
Amen.
