Ten New Converts Baptized!

It’s evident that God is doing a great work in India.   It may have something to do with the pandemic and reminding people we are not guaranteed a tomorrow.  In times like this people regard eternity and how they would be judged should they pass away.  They have questions that religions cannot answer satisfactorily.   But when they learn about our Lord and that He wants to have a personal relationship with us, how He died for the remission of our sins, and how He would have done it for only you or me if we were the only people on earth, then the Holy Spirit softens the heart to make it more accessible to receive Jesus Christ.

A report from our friend in India, Rev. Cornelius, told about ten people who were baptized after accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.   This was done through the ministry of Cornelius’s father-in-law, also a pastor.  It is illegal to baptize others in India, so it is done with discretion and in obedience to Acts 5:29, “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

Below are photos of the occasion.  The drum is beat in celebration while children are looking on.

These new converts now need Bibles.  A Bible in India costs $4.  Would you consider buying at least 1 Bible?  If so, please click on the link below:
