Sept. 11, 2018- Outreach to Apro-Kumasi

As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must boldly share the love and message of our Savior with the world because it’s what He commanded us to do.  On September 11, 2018, the Covenant Messenger Ministry Team (David, Della, Matthew, and John) traveled to Apro-Kumasi in the eastern region of Akim Asamabkese to Akim Oda Road and shared 312 tracts with various people.  They also ministered and prayed for people.  Here are a few photos from their latest outreach.

As the team shared the Gospel tracts, they met an elderly woman who was a Muslim.  She told them that she was experiencing severe back pain.  The team shared the Gospel with her, prayed for her back, and the woman was instantly healed!  She also decided to receive Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior- Hallelujah!  The woman then shared with the team, “Today is my 89th birthday and the greatest gift I have received on my birthday is Jesus.”
Salvation through Jesus Christ is the greatest gift that anyone could ever receive, and it’s completely free!   Sin has made us guilty and deserving of death.  Jesus Christ paid the punishment for our sin by dying on the cross.  He resurrected three days later and soon ascended into Heaven.  You may be thinking, “Why would someone do that for me?” The answer is short and sweet and even surprising- Jesus Christ sacrificially gave because He loves us more than any human has the capacity to love.  And in case you’ve never heard, God Himself is the definition of love.
We hope that this report brings you great hope and joy.  We hope that it challenges you to be bold in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  And for those of you who are trying to decide if this Jesus is worth following, we pray that you’ll have the boldness and courage to take that step and ask Him to be the leader of your life forever.
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” -1 Corinthians 15:58
