2010 – March – First Mission To Northern Ghana

Missions to the North – March 2010

This is C.M.M.’s first outreach to the north country of Ghana. This is the village of Kunkuog. The northern part of Ghana is very primitive and a haven for fetish priests, or what we know as witch doctors. This trip was planned and arranged by Pastor Harrison, the national coordinator of CMM Bible schools together with his brother, Rev Abukari and two lady missionaries. (SIDENOTE: Many years ago the Lord put it on my heart to prepare CMM for this evangelism outreach to the North. A few years later I received a letter from a young man, Bro.

(SIDENOTE: Many years ago the Lord put it on my heart to prepare CMM for this evangelism outreach to the North. A few years later I received a letter from a young man, Bro. Harrison, who had received some of our tracts.  His letter touched my heart and the Lord let me know that the young man would have a great ministry.  Consequently, we sent him a quality Bible from the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.  What I didn’t know at the time is the fact that Bro. Harrison was from the Northern part of Ghana and familiar with the areas.  This led to our ability to evangelise there. . . . proving once again that God has it all in control. . . . . Val Black)
