Outreach to Dobro – First week of August 2017

In the first week of August, 2017, the CMM Outreach Team visited the community of Dobro, passed out Gospel tracts, witnessed to people and prayed for healing for those in need. Here is the report from Ghana: We shared about 126 tracts and preached the gospel to the people at the Dobro community. By the grace of God 27 people accepted Jesus Christ and many were blessed. Report on Visit to Central Prisons on 30th June, 2017 in Kumasi

The meeting which commenced at 1:30pm with prayer, praise and worship by the inmates; had in attendance one hundred (100) inmates, one (1) Prison officer and CMM regional coordinator, Pastor Kwabena Owusu as well as Evangelist Osei Atta of Amakom Baptist Church, Kumasi. A short exhortation was given by Evangelist Osei Atta, on the theme “God’s Protection with scripture reading from Acts 12:1-19”; after Pastor Kwabena Owusu welcomed inmates to the service and informed them the school will begin on our next meeting. Bible School has begun at the Prison in Kumasi

Two years ago Covenant Messenger Ministries requested permission from the government of Ghana to conduct Bible schools in the prisons of Ghana, using the same I.S.O.M. curriculum being used in various churches and Bible schools throughout that nation.  As of April 2017, the request has been approved and the first Bible school has begun at the prison in Kumasi, the second largest prison in Ghana.
