Philippians 3:17 says, ” Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.”
For quite some time this ministry has focused on evangelism and the C.M.M. outreach team has been blessed by leading hundreds of people to the Lord. But always on our minds was the need of discipling those who have received salvation through Jesus Christ. With our limited resources discipling was not always possible. However, the Lord has put it upon our hearts to make a change. So by the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are beginning to return to those places which we evangelized in the past to follow through with discipling the converts by teaching and baptizing them in water. Please keep us in prayer for protection, for wisdom, and for our financial needs to be met to accomplish our goal . Thank you!
Now, here is the latest report from Rev. John Harrison, the leader of the outreach team:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
On the 16th of August 2021, myself (John Harrison) and Matthew travelled to Nigeria to revive the Bible School and encourage them in evangelism and soul winning.
It was a very difficult journey to Nigeria, but we did go and by the Grace of God we reviewed the school there with 17 people to begin with. We had about 12 students who completed the Bible School 3 years ago, so we graduated them as well.
Before all that, we met the new and old students and educated them about evangelism. We divided in groups and sent them out to various areas, streets, stores, and house-to-house evangelism.
To summarize, there are 17 new students in the Bible school, and we graduated 12 students.
During the evangelism efforts and after sharing 403 Gospel tracts, 112 souls were won to the Lord. 41 of them were baptized in water. In addition, we observed 21 people healed of various maladies!
We plan to return every 5 months to encourage them in evangelism and the Bible school. We thank God for a hedge of protection He placed around us on our trip to and from Nigeria.
God bless you,
John Harrison
