About C.M.M. Ghana: The ministry in Ghana had a small beginning in 1995 when we shipped thousands of tracts to Africa. At one time we received an average of 50 letters per day asking for more tracts, Bibles, and teaching materials. It became evident that a distribution point was needed, so an office was opened in Accra, Ghana. Very soon an evangelism team was organized and outreaches to remote areas became a regular part of the ministry. Later, video Bible schools were formed in villages. The C.M.M. team would ride a bus as close to the villages, and from there they would carry the projectors and videos to the villages. Thousands of students graduated, and most were also ordained for ministry during that time. Our good friends of Holy Spirit Ministries, Int’l., Dr. Jerry Smith, and his wife Paula, traveled yearly to conduct the graduations and ordinations. Dr. Smith is now with the Lord, but his wife Paula, along with their daughter Stacey and her husband David Limerick, are continuing the ministry.
In February 2024, Julie and I concluded that in this “race” for salvations before the return of our Lord, it was appropriate for us to hand over the leadership of the ministry in Ghana, West Africa, to others. We proposed the idea to Paula Smith, Stacey, and David Limerick, and they agreed to do it. We were blessed knowing that part of our ministry will be in good hands and be led by the Holy Spirit.
Julie and I are still blessed by supporting Grace Children’s Home and Bethesda Leper Colony in India. On the following pages, you will not only find reports about them but if you scroll down several pages, there are past reports of the work in Ghana.
Thanks for looking, we hope you will be blessed!
Please read the following accounts of salvations, deliverances, and healings, and may you be blessed as you do.
We were recently sent photos from Pastor Cornelius of workers building a church in a Dalit village. As you can see, it is a rather crude structure. No electricity, no running water, no air conditioner, etc., etc., but the Glory of God is just as much present in this church as it is in any majestic cathedral with gold trimmings. Probably even more so. Other photos depict women going for water, sometimes walking great distances and carrying the load on their shoulders or head. There is a great need for wells, especially in the extremely poor Dalit villages. The cost ...
In our support of men and women of God who daily work towards helping the poor and needy, who willingly share the Gospel and bring others into the Kingdom of Heaven, we are committed to helping as much as we are able, and we call for others who feel as we do, that laying up treasures in Heaven is thousands of times better than laying up material wealth on earth, to respond with prayer but financial help too. There are many needs, but specific ones were given to us, in particular, by Rev. Cornelius, founder of Grace Children’s Home in ...
On November 17, 2019, this ministry was able to wire a special offering to Rev. Cornelius in India. We told Rev. Cornelius to use the offering as he is led by the Holy Spirit. For three years a remote village of Dalits have been waiting for someone to bring them Bibles so they can grow in the Lord. Rev. Cornelius purchased Bibles and traveled to the village to deliver them to the people. The villagers were very happy to receive them. While there Rev. Cornelius also baptized some new converts. Then Rev. Cornelius bought rice and ingredients for curry (a ...
Reports are coming in daily from Pastor Sikala Cornelius in one part of India and also from Pastor Raj and his father, Rev. Dinesh, in another part of India. Pastor Cornelius reports that he was able to bless several widows with loaves of bread. As he explains, in India many of the widows are rejected by their families and put out of home to survive on their own. They have few people to help with shelter, food, and clothing. You can imagine how blessed it was to receive free loaves of bread. BELOW PASTOR CORNELIUS AND HIS ASSISTANT GIVE LOAVES ...
Although 3000 years old, the caste system in India is still in existence today but in milder forms. The four primary castes are Brahmin, the priests; Kshatriya, warriors and nobility; Vaisya, farmers, traders and artisans; and Shudra, tenant farmers, and servants. Some people were born outside of (and below) the caste system. They are called "untouchables" or Dalits—"the oppressed, downtrodden, crushed ones." Like lepers in the Old Testament, the life of a Dalit was and in parts of India still is, very difficult to say the least. In the past a Dalit was considered unclean and was not permitted to ...
We recently announced that Covenant Messenger Ministries has been led of the Lord to support a young man and his father in India. As we said before, their names and exact location are being withheld from these reports for their safety. Persecution of Christians in India is growing. The controlling government is Hindu, which complicates matters even more. In view of this and in order to identify ones we are talking about in the reports, I'm giving the son the name of Raj and the father, Rev. Dinesh. Almost every day we receive a report from Raj and his father ...

We are excited about finding a brother-in-the-Lord in India who is fulfilling the Great Commission, working alongside his father, a pastor. It's unfortunate, but we cannot give their names or location in India where they are working as the government there is Hindu and frowns on support of Christian ministries. Money transfer agencies such as Moneygram, Xoom, etc., will not accept transfers in support of Christians in India. We tried several agencies but every one of them refused to transfer our support from the U.S. to India. By the grace of God we finally found one that was willing ...
Through a Christian friend in India, Covenant Messenger Ministries has for years been supportive of several Pastors of small churches in his part of India. The Christian friend's name is Kiran Babu, a student at a university who is studying law and has hopes of earning a degree to become a lawyer, specializing in representing Christian laypeople and Pastors. Most of the population of India practice Hinduism while 14.2% adheres to Islam. Christianity is the 3rd largest religion and has to endure much persecution by the other two religions. Up until a couple of years ago the area in which Kiran and ...
Kiran Babu's ministry regularly supports several Pastors and this Christmas they celebrated with a lunch, Bible study and distribution of gifts, including a Saree for each of the Pastor's wives. Covenant Messenger Ministries has supported Kiran's ministry for many years. Below are photos. Kiran gave each of the Pastors a Saree (Sari) for his wife The Pastors enjoyed a lunch, followed by a Bible study led by Kiran ...
Salvation Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am a sinner. I come to You now and confess with my mouth that I believe Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for my sins. I believe in my heart that He rose from the dead and now sits at Your right Hand. Forgive me for all of my past sins and help me to live the life You would have me to live. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
